Kristof has covered the predicament of Sister Margaret McBride who was an administrator at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.She had been excommunicated by Bishop Thomas Olmstead as she supported the attempt of saving the mother instead of saving the child in a medical complication.
The Catholic Church is of the view that the natural procedure in any human-related development shall not be altered.
